James Kimbrough

Director International Program Development

James Kimbrough is a corporate executive with over 30 years’ experience in security, administration, and project management. He currently serves as security director at the European Central Bank (ECB) and is responsible for developing and implementing security policies and procedures within the financial institution. He oversees various security measures to safeguard employees, customers, assets, and sensitive information against potential threats.

James leads an international team with the inspiring vision to leverage ground-breaking technology to transform the financial security industry and to support the ECB's mission of maintaining price stability and fostering the European economy with his security expertise and leadership. He brings a wealth of unique experience and a proven track record navigating legal, regulatory and reputational risk landscapes for the ECB’s financial sector across the European Union Member countries, in unusual, high-stakes circumstances.

In his role as Director, International Program Development, and member of the International Peace Alliance’s Global Team, James initiates programs that serve as models of innovative approaches to persistent problems of social conflict and underdevelopment across the world, inspired by the vision of the European Union, in the construction of a new international system modelled on a single supervisory mechanism operating on the regional level.
