Written and interpreted by Kelly Boesch, "Quiet Rebellion" was selected for its originality, emotional depth, and resonant message — a reminder that peace is often advanced not only through loud declarations, but through conscience, courage, and quiet acts of resistance rooted in humanity.

Each year, the International Peace Festival selects a theme song that reflects the spirit of the times and the core values of peace, dignity, and social responsibility.

Quiet Rebellion speaks powerfully to this mission, offering a moving reflection on inner strength, moral clarity, and the transformative power of individual voices; a beautiful metaphor for resilience, evolution, and creative courage.

On this National Philanthropy Day, we extend our deepest gratitude to Michael Clemons for embodying compassion, leadership, and the transformative power of giving.

There is no better example than the extraordinary generosity shown by Michael “Pinball” Clemons at the Peace Ambassadors Awards Gala & Grand Ball.

One of the highlights of the evening was the live auction of a signed jersey donated by Michael “Pinball” Clemons — CFL legend, beloved Toronto Argonauts icon, and this year’s recipient of the IPA Celebrity Peace Ambassador Award.

A member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame, Pinball is celebrated not only for his extraordinary athletic career, but also for his lifelong dedication to youth empowerment. Through the Pinball Clemons Foundation, he supports children and young people by providing educational opportunities, mentorship, and pathways to success.

All proceeds from the auction support the IPA Peace Ambassadors Educational Program in partnership with UNESCO’s Associated Schools Network (ASPnet) — a global initiative connecting nearly 10,000 schools in 167 countries to foster peace in the minds of children and youth.
