Written and interpreted by Kelly Boesch, "Quiet Rebellion" was selected for its originality, emotional depth, and resonant message — a reminder that peace is often advanced not only through loud declarations, but through conscience, courage, and quiet acts of resistance rooted in humanity.

Each year, the International Peace Festival selects a theme song that reflects the spirit of the times and the core values of peace, dignity, and social responsibility.

Quiet Rebellion speaks powerfully to this mission, offering a moving reflection on inner strength, moral clarity, and the transformative power of individual voices; a beautiful metaphor for resilience, evolution, and creative courage.

We are honoured to feature Kelly Boesch’s work as the musical voice of the International Peace Festival 2026, carrying forward a message of hope, reflection, and peaceful action.

On this National Philanthropy Day, we extend our deepest gratitude to Michael Clemons for embodying compassion, leadership, and the transformative power of giving.

There is no better example than the extraordinary generosity shown by Michael “Pinball” Clemons at the Peace Ambassadors Awards Gala & Grand Ball.

One of the highlights of the evening was the live auction of a signed jersey donated by Michael “Pinball” Clemons — CFL legend, beloved Toronto Argonauts icon, and this year’s recipient of the IPA Celebrity Peace Ambassador Award.

A member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame, Pinball is celebrated not only for his extraordinary athletic career, but also for his lifelong dedication to youth empowerment. Through the Pinball Clemons Foundation, he supports children and young people by providing educational opportunities, mentorship, and pathways to success.

All proceeds from the auction support the IPA Peace Ambassadors Educational Program in partnership with UNESCO’s Associated Schools Network (ASPnet) — a global initiative connecting nearly 10,000 schools in 167 countries to foster peace in the minds of children and youth.

📍The IPA Peace Awards will be officially conferred in Toronto, on September 26, 2025, during the annual Peace Ambassadors Awards Gala and Grand Ball, at the closing ceremonies of the International Peace Festival | Festival International de la Paix www.internationalpeacefestival.net.

The International Peace Alliance awards consist of three major categories: the IPA Peace Merit Awards, the IPA Peace Leadership Awards, and the IPA Film For Peace Awards.

The prestigious recognition of the IPA Peace Leadership Awards is conferred on the following 2025 Honorees for their outstanding contributions to global dialogue, cultural diplomacy, responsible entrepreneurship and ethical leadership, honoring their work towards building a better world beyond borders:

IPA Humanitarian Leadership Award – Mary Robinson
IPA Impact Leadership Award – Bill Gates
IPA Community Leadership Award – Francesco Serafini

We are also delighted to share the announcement of the winners of the IPA Peace Merit Awards for their exceptional artistic achievements, recognizing the specific nature of cultural and artistic works and the uniqueness of cultural and natural heritage conservation, protection and promotion as a critical contributor to peace:

IPA Celebrity Peace Ambassador Award – Michael Clemons
IPA Honorary Award in the Arts – Moses Znaimer
IPA Lifetime Achievement Award in Art – Yoko Ono
