Linda Rose is an action-oriented communications professional with over 35 years of experience in the international business sector. Linda has strong experience leading strategic communications initiatives, and developing issues management plans both at the local and international levels. A York University (YU) and George Brown College (GBC) alumna, she received her postgraduate degree in international business from GBC and her Bachelor of Arts degree from YU.
A seasoned communications professional with decades of holistic and multi-dimensional exposure in strategic communication practice areas, Linda has earned the respect and trust of communities, stakeholders and industry partners. Her specialities include brand awareness, website management, digital and social media, internal communications, and project management. She holds certifications in Asian Business from the University of Toronto and is certified in International Trade with Advanced Standing from F.I.T.T. and Import and Export from the Toronto Board of Trade, among other accreditations.
Linda has distinguished herself in a series of leadership roles, including Chinese-based Shanghai Greenwave Enviro-Tech Co., Ltd, having served Fortune 500 companies, consulates and business customers of the environmentally conscious tech conglomerate riding the green wave. Linda is a corporate communications professional who is inspired by community-building. In addition to her senior leadership role with the International Peace Festival, she also serves on the Board of the International Peace Alliance and is an Ambassador for Diabetes in Toronto.
