Maria Papadakis

The Peace Ambassadors Awards Gala & Grand Ball on September 26, 2025, will be co-hosted by Maria Papadakis and Peter Laneas. Maria is one of the leading young talents in Toronto. She is currently a producer with KISS 97.5 FM and previously worked with MLSE (Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment).

She has also worked as a Sports Anchor with Rogers Sports & Media, an Air Host with Syrup Network, and a reporter for the RTA Sports Broadcast, covering the Canadian World Junior Hockey Exhibition Series which aired on Rogers Television and OUA TV. Maria has also brought her talents to bear on many projects, including the first female broadcast associated with RTA Sports, organizing and producing the Annual 38th TARA Awards, the Canadian Video Game Awards, and the CIS Final 8 Championship associated with The Rams Network, to name but a few. She is a laureate of Toronto Metropolitan University and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Media. In addition to radio and television, Maria has served as a Host, Emcee, Moderator and Speaker at multiple community and charitable events, festivals, schools, shows and sports games.
